Facebook: Recruitment Campaign

RECRUITMENT Campaign

My team and I were asked to ideate concepts for an employee recruitment campaign for Facebook.

What’s your thing? shares the objects that people at Facebook care about and invites candidates to do the same. Candidates can share photos and stories on Instagram using #WhatsYourThing, or even bring an object to an interview to start a friendly conversation, setting a positive tone to their experience.

Be bold: Lay each card out on the table during the interview to start a more creative conversation on how to make the world more open and connected.  Download a companion app to have a digital version ready for engaging discussions with candidates anywhere on the go. Use the app to also access Facebook's current recruiting resources easily.

The people behind the people. Facebook plays a role in the lives of billions of people, but we rarely see the employees who support these individuals and communities behind the scenes. Get to know Facebook's employees as ‘the people behind the people’: a team of passionate individuals who have played a key role in creating the features and functions that make the platform an essential part of life.

Energize recruiters with a personalized, web-based app with content that would inspire and equip them to have more creative conversations candidates. A purpose statement recorded directly from CEO Mark Zuckerberg precedes a series of videos that express the Facebook story, values and culture in an inspirational way. This collection of content is intended to motivate recruiters, validate their role and enhance their connections with candidates during the interview process.

Merit badge program. Recruitment processes can be lengthy, leaving candidates waiting for next steps. This program would increase their sense of engagement. At key milestones—from recruitment fairs to interviews— candidates would collect physical and digital badges, creating mementos and moments worth sharing. Candidates can scan a trackable code at the bottom of their ticker card to download an app and unlock helpful content.
